About this event

  • Preservation of traditional Japanese coffee shop atmosphere and community spirit.
  • Experience the essence of a cozy environment with heavy furnishings.

Details
This event serves as a tribute to the good old coffee culture of Japan. Historically, the number of coffee shops in Japan was approximately 150,000 nationwide in 1981, but it has declined to around 60,000 currently. The event aims to carry on the goodness of these establishments, which functioned as community spaces where local regulars gathered in a comfortable setting surrounded by elegant furnishings. Participants will compare heartfelt cups from each shop to honor this traditional heritage.
